✔Google’s June 2025 Core Update Completed
Google's June 2025 core update completed its 16-day rollout on July 17, marking the second major algorithm change of the year.
This update focused on surfacing relevant, satisfying content for searchers from all types of sites, continuing Google's emphasis on people-first content.
Ranking volatility peaked between July 11–14, with some sites recovering from past penalties like the September 2023 helpful content update.
⚒Immediate Actions:
Audit your site's performance data from July 2-17 to identify ranking changes
Review Google's people-first content guidelines and assess current content against these standards
Focus on content satisfaction metrics rather than traditional SEO tactics
Prioritize creating genuinely helpful content that serves user intent over search engine optimization.
Remember that recovery typically requires another core update cycle, making consistent content quality essential.
The message remains clear: sustainable SEO success comes from prioritizing user value over algorithmic manipulation. Did you win or lose?
📊 Plug the Money Drain: 5 Google Ads Segments Exposing Hidden Budget Waste
Your Google Ads default view may create a misleading impression of efficiency by averaging out poor performance.
Beneath the surface, hidden budget leaks could be quietly eroding your ROI.
Using these five key segment views in your Google Ads account, we’ll show you how to uncover these problem areas.

How to access the Segment button in Google Ads
1. Network Segmentation: Catch Search Partner Surges
An account that’s opted-in search partners can suddenly consume 50%+ of your budget with poor-quality traffic, spiking CPAs from hundreds to thousands of dollars.
In the statistics table, go to Segment > Network (with search partners). Review spend, conversions, and CPA or ROAS by network
To remove partners: Settings > Networks > Deselect the network > Save.
2. Conversion Action Segmentation: Focus on What Matters
All conversion actions are weighted equally, treating high-value sales the same as YouTube views.
Check the performance of each action against key metrics in the statistics table: Segment > Conversions > Conversion actions.
Mark valuable actions as Primary in Goals > Conversions
Use value-based bidding to prioritize revenue-driving conversions.
3. Asset Performance: Get True Extension Data
Extension tables show ad performance when assets appear, not actual asset performance.
To see how the asset performed (not the ad it was attached to), click Segment > This Extension vs Other in Assets Statistics table.
Pause underperforming assets and promote top performers to core ad copy.
4. Keyword-to-Ad Matching: Improve Message Alignment
The assumption that Google will automatically match up your keywords and ads correctly in a single ad group definitely costs you.
It’s not true, and it creates message-intent mismatches.
Check ad combinations or click View asset details to see all headlines and descriptions.
Segment ads by Keyword text.
Create tighter ad groups where messaging aligns with search intent for better conversion rates.
5. Device Segmentation: Audit User Experience
This segmentation while not a priority helps you audit your user experience.
Check device perfomance in Segment > Device.
Exclude underperforming devices in the When and where ads showed and set the bid adjustment to 100%.
Optimize landing pages for high-traffic device types.
👉 Key Takeaway:
While segmentation reveals insights, avoid analysis paralysis.
Focus on actionable signals that directly impact business outcomes, not vanity metrics or arbitrary data cuts.

📢LinkedIn Video Strategy: 5 Engagement-Boosting Principles

LinkedIn video engagement surged 36% year-over-year in 2024, with video posts shared 20x more than other content types.
Here's your actionable strategy based on LinkedIn's report analysis of 13,000 B2B video ads.
While the main focus is on ads, the same principles apply to organic video posts.
1. Cultural Coding (+111% engagement boost):
Reference workplace culture, memes, and timely industry events.
2. Human Touch (+78%):
Feature real people with authentic emotional expressions, not scripted performances.
3. Expert Takes (+53%):
Position credible specialists in casual, conversational settings.
4. Attention Hacking (+15 to18%):
Use bold colors, dynamic text, and graphics emphasizing key points.
5. Inspiring Imagination (+67%):
Create emotionally resonant brand videos that focus on transformation and possibility.
💡 Start with one principle per video and build from there. Authenticity beats production value every time.
